Dysart School

Pupil Voice

At Dysart, we aim to empower our children and young people in all we do. This goes beyond mere ‘speech’. By focusing on developing their communication skills, whatever their individual styles, we want to support our pupils to be able to express their needs, wants and preferences. This gives them the best opportunity to influence their environment and exercise positive control over their lives.

“The quality of care, guidance and support offered to the learners is outstanding.”  (Ofsted 2009)

In addition, we will soon have a new School Council, which aims to provide a platform for seeking pupils’ views in a more formal way.

We aim to bring you updates from School Council once it is active.
